Amos’ cousin Adeline celebrated her first birthday at the end of October and the family gathered together in Lexington to party down.  I can’t believe these two are only ten weeks apart in age.  Adeline got the dainty side of the Morgan genes while bug inherited the macho man Randy Savage genes from his Papa and Pap-paw but I can absolutely see a resemblance between them.  It’s fun to see the babes interacting now.  They were passing snacks back and forth this time but not necessarily passing the toys.  Above is the patch work quilt I’d been knitting since before Adeline was born.  I finally finished it and just in time for her first birthday party!

It’s getting harder to keep bug still while I take his picture.  The face he’s making above is telling me that he knows he’s not supposed to lean over the edge of the chair but he’s checking to see if I notice and if I’ll leap to the rescue when he decides to plunge over the edge.

I’m in need of some sweetness and I don’t think I could find anything better than a flashback of this chubby bald baby.
