Merry Christmas! I did not purchase any gifts this year in order that I might reflect upon the true meaning of Christmas. Each year I find myself searching for the perfect gift and frantically rushing from place to place to find the best deals and then stopping in at one house after another to visit friends and family I rarely communicate with. Wow, it makes me tired just reminiscing on years past. I think that we should spend time with our loved ones regularly and not feel compelled to do so under duress. I am thankful for the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on this Christmas Eve.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”
