New Recipe

I must confess that I haven’t gone to the grocery in over a week and had to come up with something for dinner last night.  I made Gingered Chick peas & Spicy Tomato Stew and served it over white rice.  I usually use brown but when you’ve got a Korean woman in the house, sometimes she reverts to the old staple of her childhood.  It was delicious.  Check it out at here — The Pioneer Woman’s blog.    I didn’t use the crock pot but did use my Martha Stewart Dutch oven (See Below- it’s one of my favorites) and chose canned chick peas instead of dried.   Pictures to come soon.
We’re going to see the Nutcracker this evening and I am so excited!  Now I just have to figure out what we can eat before we go.  Woh woh woh.
